It’s great to have things outside of the regular rhythm to look forward to – check out these events coming up on the horizon…

Beers & Carols

Ready to belt out your favourite carols while enjoying a pint or a glass of wine? We've got just the event for you! Join us for Beer & Carols at Brothers Brewery, Mt Eden, Thursday, December 5th from 7:30pm. This is a night you won’t want to miss, so grab your friends, book a babysitter, and bring along your workmates for a Christmas singalong! Let us know you're joining the festive fun on Facebook. We can’t wait!

Saint Augustine's Christmas Celebration!

Celebrate Christmas at Saint Augustine's on Sunday, 15 December! Join us from 10:00am (kicks off at 10:30am) at Auckland Girls Grammar School. The fabulous Saint Augustine's Christmas Choir will be singing all your favourite Christmas carols, plus this year we're thrilled to introduce the Saint Augustine's Kids Choir (cute!) We have the band back together, including a brass section! And the Rev Mathew Newton will be offering a short reflection on Christmas. After the celebration we'll be serving mince pies and delicious Christmassy food and drink. This is the perfect occasion to invite family, friends, and anyone who doesn't normally attend church. Let us know you're coming on the Facebook Event. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Saint Augustine's Kids Choir

Hey kids! Do you love Christmas? Do you love dressing up? Do you love singing? If you answered "Yes, yes, yes!" then we want you to be part of the Saint Augustine's Kids Christmas Choir! The choir will be performing Lauren Daigle's "Light of the World" at the Saint Augustine's Christmas Celebration on December 15. Attending rehearsals will be super important, heaps of fun, and very low-pressure. Rehearsals will take place before church on Sunday, November 24, December 1, and December 8, from 9:15 to 9:55 am. This is a great opportunity to invite kids and friends outside our Saint Augustine's whānau to join in the Christmas festivities. They would need to come to the rehearsals too, and afterward would be more than welcome to stick around for the kids' groups. So, parents and caregivers, sign your kids up today! Email Adele below to register, and let’s get singing!

Meet & Eat

If you're new to Saint Augustine's or know someone who is, Meet & Eat is the perfect opportunity to find out who we are and what we're about. It's also a great chance to meet some of the team, ask a few questions, and find out how to get connected — all over a glass of wine and dessert. We are currently receiving inquiries of interest for the next Meet & Eat so we would love to hear from you if you are keen.

Parents of Preschoolers

Parents of Preschoolers (or PoPs for short) is all about midweek meetups - in homes and out and about at local parks. Initiated by parents, we are excited to be launching with a weekly Monday morning meetup and would love to see this grow into multiple meetups of parents (and little ones) connecting and supporting each other throughout the week and across the city.

To connect and find out what’s going on, please ask to join the private Facebook group here - this is where all the details are posted and you can connect with the hosts as well. If you are interested in hosting a regular PoPs midweek meetup, then we’d love to hear from you below. Arohanui

Ramblers & Riders

Not in a rush to get anywhere, Ramblers & Riders is a community at Saint Augustine's that share a common love of either walking or cycling, whilst enjoying a deep connection to nature and one another. We’d love to invite you to join us at one of our monthly meet ups where we host a variety of rides and walks to suit different ages and abilities (including the little ones!). Everyone’s invited, and all the cycles and walks are led by experienced guides to ensure you are well informed whilst keeping safe and having fun! For more information please contact Richard Barter here

Surf Squad

Surfing is one of the most exciting and stunningly beautiful sports in the word, and members of the Saint Augustine’s Surf Squad would agree. We have a number of surfers from very, very good to those who just like to hang out on the beach and enjoy some of the best beaches in the country, with great company.

The great thing about the Surf Squad is it’s not just about the time on the water, but the time on the beach, the anticipation of the trip to the beach and the trip home after a long day, where the talk is usually about the waves, the ride and the wipe-outs. It's a great team - several trips have been undertaken, both locally and offshore, with more planned. You don't have to surf alone, there’s plenty of company available.

Fill out the form below with your details and we will ensure everyone is put in contact. Heading for a day or a weekend away to surf, take some company and enjoy this amazing country we call Aotearoa.
