We’re convinced the Church is not a sub-culture, building or weekend activity but rather, the making of a new humanity – a people who partner with God in his desire to make all things new. Our prayer is as Jesus prayed, that God’s will would be done in Auckland as it is in Heaven.

Our lil’ story so far…

In July 2016, 37 people gathered in a classroom in a West Auckland school with a desire to seek God and pray for one another. The following month, Rev Brent Swan, the Vicar of Grey Lynn, kindly welcomed us to meet at St Columba. We met at 3:15pm, for worship, pizza and wine on Sunday, 28 August, the feast day of St Augustine of Hippo - and the name Saint Augustine's has stuck ever since. By mid-2017 we had outgrown St Columba, and so we moved to The Dorothy Winstone Centre at Auckland Girls' Grammar School on 16 July 2017 – exactly a year since our very first gathering.
